The 350 series meters are conductivity TDS meters, electronic devices designed to continuously measure the conductivity of water inside a steam generator, boiler, or feed line. Conductivity is highly important as it is closely related to the content of dissolved salts in the water, known as TDS (Total Dissolved Salts).
The TDS content must be constantly monitored and kept low to ensure optimal steam quality, particularly for food or pharmaceutical applications, and to reduce the energy consumption required for heating the water.
The TDS measurement system comprises several components:
310 TDS Conductivity Probe
The 310 mechanical probe, connected to the 350 electronic unit, allows continuous measurement of water conductivity (TDS) within a steam generator (boiler).
330 TDS Conductivity Probe
The 330 mechanical probe, connected to the 350 electronic unit, allows continuous measurement of water conductivity (TDS) within a steam generator (boiler).
350 Conductivity Control Unit
The 350 series unit is a compact electronic device (DIN rail, 22.5mm) designed for continuous measurement of water conductivity (TDS) within a steam generator (boiler).
428 Serial Monitor
The 428 series serial service monitor enables calibration and settings for the 350 series transmitters.
It allows users to easily set minimum and maximum conductivity values, calibrate the conductivity meter, and read the conductivity value.
429 Digital Display
The 429 series display, paired with a 350 series transmitter, allows digital visualization of the conductivity value and enables the configuration of two independent intervention thresholds via a front keypad.
When powered by 24V DC, the 429 can directly power a 350 series transmitter.
